Travel means to go from one place to another by any transport, it can be your car, bike, airplane, train, etc. There are three types of means of transportation that help you to travel:-
• Land transport – Transport that travels on road is known as land transport. A few examples of land transport are cars, buses, trucks, trains, etc.
• Water transport – Transport which travels on water like sea, ocean gulf, river, and lakes is known as water transport. A few examples of water transport are ships, boats, submarines, etc.
• Air transport – Transport that travels by air is known as air transport. Jets, airplanes, and helicopters are examples of air transport.
As we talked about the means of travel, now there are some types of travel discussed below.
1- Weekend vacation- Weekend vacations are often preferred by people who are indulged in their job hectic schedule. They get free time on weekends only. So, it would be better for them to go on Saturday and Sunday.
2 – Group outing- A group trip is selected by the people who like to enjoy and vibe during the trip, by doing different activities like clicking the surroundings, by entertaining themselves in the moment and more.
3 – Road trip – Road trips are mostly preferred by people who want to vibe the environment and its beauty by having an aesthetic view of it. If you have a private vehicle then you can make sudden plans to go for a road trip. On road trips, you can enjoy the whole vacation properly by stopping at different stops for food breaks and loo breaks.
4 – Official tour- Official tours happens among the colleagues of the office only. They visit a certain decided place for office meetings and further enjoyment. Through this, colleagues make bonds with other team members for doing better work and to refresh themselves.
5 – Family trip- The plan of this trip is made by whole family members with their friends or relatives. They go to different places to travel and explore more by doing activities of different culture and their traditions. Family trips are more likely to be exciting and fun worthy.
6 – Even trip– This happened when you visit any particular place to attend any specific event only. This can be your world cup event, FIFA cup event, Olympics, and the commonwealth as well. These
types of trips are visited by most people in order to be present on such occasions. These trips are planned by numerous people across the world for publishing one such occasion
7- Educational tour- These trips are made by different schools, Universities and institutions. The main agenda of this trip is to visit a specific place for learning more. For example, there are many universities that conduct these types of tours, such as Washington University, Columbia University, etc. These universities
promote education trips not just on the domestic ground but internationally as well. Educational trips are not just knowledgeable but fun as well.
